The following year the group embarked on a world tour and completed their fourth studio album, Empezar Desde Cero. Released a month beforehand, their third Spanish-language set Celestial outsold Rebels and broke into the US Top 20 in November.
RBD also began making inroads into the North American market, leading to a US tour at the start of 2006 and the release of the groups English language recording debut Rebels, which featured material from their first two albums. The following year brought further recordings with the live collection Tour Generación RBD En Vivo and the studio album Nuestro Amor. Featuring catchy Latin pop tracks written by Max di Carlo and DJ Kafka, the album spawned the Mexican number 1 hits Rebelde, Solo Quédate En Silencio and Sálvame, and was a phenomenal sales success with teenagers throughout Latin America. The runaway success of the show spawned a glut of multi-media offshoots, including RBD, with the sextet making their recording debut in late 2004 with a self-titled album for EMI Records.
